Anamorphisis

We changed the perspective to make it easier to draw in 3-D. We used photshop to transform the picture and make it easier to draw in 3-D. We then drew a grid to help get the proportions right. the colored pencils were the most important part of the project becasue it could make your project good or in my case bad.

Spray Paint Art

We used threshold in photoshop on the picture so we could cut it into some paper. When we finished cutting it, it became a stencil we put the stencil on the background and then spray painted it the color of our choosing. i didnt need any collage on the back because i painted over it with blue. i painted it blue becasue i wanted the car to be blue. The positive space and negetive space were in the picture. The positive space was the actual car or the blue part but the negative space is the part i spray painted. the xacto knife supposed to be used to cut away from your hand. The spray paint part was awesome.

2.     How did you add texture and contrast to your print? Is this important? Why?

I added texture by carving out the scars on the manatee and then i added some seaweed and some ocean water
4.     Describe the craftsmanship of your print. (How good the project is technically crafted)

It was technically a manatee but it was not technically crafted very well even though i tried really hard. it was looking pretty good but then i put paint on it and it went south.
6.     Explain your experience with Printmaking. What were the obstacles and advantages?

i did it h grade but ni was awful at it so i didnt do very well in 8th grade.

1. Why is texture so important to have in your sketches?
Texture is important so you can get a more realistic looking print. also it helps show what animal it is.
2. Why is it neccessary for you to have several references of each animal and each background? Explain.
It is important to have several refernces because it helps you see how the animal actually  looks. Also we can compare it to the pictures to see if we accomplished our goal.
3. When you look at your sketches are you able to see which sketch is the strongest and will make the best print? How do you know this?
Yes because if i can draw the animal in pencil it will be a little harder but i think i can do it in print. but if i cant even draw it with pencil i wont even be able to print it

Interactive Chalk

1)   This project was the best. i thought it was the best because all we did was stand around all class. Also we got to paint spongebob scenes and not seem strange. I liked how we made it look 3-d and that i got to jellyfish with patrick.

2) The importance of collaboratio in this project was that if we didnt agree it wouldnt have looked as real. We all decided on the same project idea and so then we set to work and everyone enjoyed coloring and drawing everyhting.

3) This project was very successful. It allowed us to do what we wanted. I had some very skilled partners too. Rachel and Victoria who really brought this project to life. Also Ben he and i were like partners in crime. Great project.

My Shading Attempt

1) The first time i have had to draw a person in black and white.
I dont think it went to well.
2) I started by getting the picture of this girl and i traced the outlines and made some shapes and then i shaded them in. to bad she had to have details or it would have been better.
3) for the different shades i did i looked at the comparrison from the light to how dark it was. I thought it looked really good until i looked at the finished product but i worked hard on it.

i am the most focused in this project by far.
I enjoyed it becuase my art is better.

Poo Drawing

1. My Favorite Drawing So far.
2. I Feel that it is very good because i couldnt even see the bones but i had to make some up.
3. The worst part of this project was the hands that was very bad it looks like they are all one bone from the arm to the fingers.
4. If i re-did this project i would make individual bones in the hands because they werent quite as good as i wanted them to be.
5. i learned that i am 743% better art drawing than i was day 1.
